My belle, let's talk About that billionaire guy For all his wealth Would he insure that you didn't die? Would he feed and clothe the hungry Would he even try? Would he bake you homemade Cookies And Shepherd's pie? My belle, let's talk About the peeps on the street Sleeping rough And nothing to eat Does the billionaire care To share all his treats? Is his self-named charity Just a taxpayer's lie? That's not enough to go around How did we lose what we found? My belle, let's talk About the prices you pay For goods and services We should be giving away The scarcity is false For profitability I want a full belly Of homemade Shepherd's pie That's not enough to go around How did we lose what we found?

Salty 02:39
Dry your eyes Dry your eyes Don't worry away Your electrolytes Dry your eyes Salty spills Don't forget to take Your pills Grain of salt It's always my fault The weight The weight is a terrifying part Grain of salt Crave the taste But so much food Goes to waste Burning my tongue Hunger ain't fun Tears of anguish Floating on Pucker up Pucker up The kisses, the kisses Taste the luck Silver spoon Silver spoon We're running out of time All too soon Burning my tongue Hunger ain't fun Tears of anguish Floating on

There is so little left Tastes so strong Overpowering and rich A symbol of wealth If the aroma Is sweet enough You may forget Your poor self If the stench Reeks enough Put it back On the shelf There is so little left Everything gone wrong Time to eat the rich Regain our health

Sweet Meat 04:12
I broke into a butchery And ate all the meat Fuck all this fuckery Nothing makes me complete The emptiness in my head Matches that in my belly My brain meat is dead I cook it on the telly I cook it on the telly Sweet meat Give me Give me a treat A pretty voice Turns a lie into sweets I didn't have a choice Born into defeat Check the oven twice Cooked OCD The meat tastes so nice But nothing is free No, nothing is free Nothing is free No, nothing is free Sweet meat Give me Give me a treat

Sour Cream 04:44
Everything in the freezer went bad When the power went out I ate it anyway, all that I had I know what I am about I went sour long ago Best before 1998 My thoughts are kinda slow Don't like to stay up late In the coldest hours My breath was steam Our love was never soured It just unravelled at the seams All the dry goods stocked away In the pantry, in the dark Never see the light of day We thought we were being so smart But it was all, it was all a waste BHT and best before dates Some things we'll never get to taste Some things will always have to wait In the coldest hours My breath was steam Our love was never soured It just unravelled at the seams

Soup 03:12
There's a mess It never goes away But I get a little warmer Broth of the day Bacon and noodles Peas and lentil Making me well Keeping my mental Soup Sustenance Soup Must-have Life's a blessing Some people say Those people do harm To you every day They whittle you down With platitudes Make you unwell With privileged attitudes Soup Sustenance Soup Must-have Soup Sustenance Soup Must-have

Stew 03:02
What would you do? Yeah What would you do? What would you do If you could not ruminate? Monster mind stew Save me from the hate I steep in the mire Always running late Always so tired Always so deflated Sick of it all Thick of it all Sick of it all Thick of it all Sick of it all Thick of it all Stew Screw you What would you do If you were suddenly poor? Everyone you knew Now you were ignored Feelings are so fairweather No one's altruistic They don't really care whether You are truly sick Sick of it all Thick of it all Sick of it all Thick of it all Sick of it all Thick of it all Stew Screw you

Seafood 03:57
Mollusc Just a husk of a man Living off tuna From a can Can't afford The fuss of a plan Just scoff at how soon This all began All the seafood You can see Never enough For you and me Resources Hoarded by the few Oceans Drained; not renewed Forces Lorded over you Emotions Waned, so cruel All the seafood You can see Never enough For you and me Mollusc Just a husk of a man Living off tuna From a can Can't afford The fuss of a plan Just scoff Just scoff at how soon This all began
